I’m Mel Kaspin Blume, a writer, storyteller, mom, and curious wanderer chasing great stories, glowing side streets, and the feeling of discovering someplace unforgettable.
Blume + Wander began after years of traveling with our kids, usually with ambitious plans, questionable navigation skills, and a tendency to wander far beyond the itinerary.
Somewhere between missed trains, 5am jet-lagged meals, streets pulsing with life, and the moments that became family legend, I realized the stories mattered just as much as the destinations.
From Tokyo to Florence, Blume + Wander is where I share the culture, beauty, chaos, humor, connection, and beautifully off-course moments that come with exploring the world alongside the people I love most.
